Nissan used spare parts guide: how to match the right part

Nissan parts vary by generation, engine and gearbox. Here is how to avoid buying the wrong one.

Published

Nissan makes some of the most common cars on UAE roads, which makes used parts easier to find — but also easier to mismatch. These tips help.

CVT gearboxes need an exact match

Many Nissans, including the Altima, Sentra, X-Trail and Kicks, use CVT gearboxes. A CVT from a different engine or year may not work correctly even if it bolts in. Always match the gearbox code. Our gearbox repair page explains when a used CVT makes sense.

Patrol generations

The Patrol has had several generations with different engines, suspension and body parts. Year and engine size are essential when you ask for Patrol parts.

Facelift changes

Headlights, bumpers and grilles often change mid-generation. Two Sunnys a couple of years apart may not share front-end parts.

What to send

  • Chassis number from your mulkiya
  • A photo of the part (and any part number on it)
  • Whether your car is GCC spec or imported
