Repair or replace a panel?
Shallow dents with unbroken paint are often repairable without repainting the whole panel. Sharp creases, stretched metal or dents on body lines take more work, and the panel usually needs filler, primer and painting afterwards.
When a panel is badly damaged, a matching used panel in good condition can cost less than many hours of straightening. We tell you which option makes more sense for your car.
Common dent causes in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain
Tight mall and residential car parks in Abu Dhabi are a common source of door dings and bumper scrapes. Low walls, posts and kerbs catch bumpers, and loose gravel on some roads leaves stone chips on bonnets. Fixing chips and small dents early stops rust from starting where paint is broken.
Car denting — common questions
Can you estimate from a photo?
A clear photo from two angles in daylight gives us a good first idea. We confirm the final cost after seeing the car, because damage behind the panel isn’t visible in photos.
Will the dent repair need painting?
It depends on whether the paint is cracked or the metal is creased. Many small dents need only light work; deeper damage usually needs refinishing to look right.
Is my accident damage covered by this service?
Larger collision damage is handled through our accident car repair service, which combines bodywork, parts and painting.
